Fox News’s Bill O’Reilly had Donald Trump on his show last night where he asked the billionaire Republican presidential candidate if he would as the U.S. Congress to declare war against named terrorist groups like Al Qaeda, the Taliban, and ISIS.
“It wouldn’t bother me at in doing that, we probably should have done that in the first place…We are at war with these people, they don’t wear uniforms. its not a traditional war.”-Donald Trump
Trump added that the country is “allowing people into our country where we don’t know who they are where they come from,” adding that “some of them have cell phones with the ISIS flag on them.”
O’Reilly pressed Trump for an more definitive answer to his question, prompting Trump to reiterate that he “would have no problem in doing it.”
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
Could the U.S. Congress declare war against radical Islamic terrorism under a Trump administration?
We would hope they do. Declaring war against an enemy gives the president for freedom to effectively execute his powers as commander-in-chief.
