For those of you who thought Rand Paul would drop out soon, you were wrong. Besides very poor poll numbers and bad debate reviews Paul says he is not planning on dropping out anytime soon.
Paul told Fox News on Sunday:I think the rumors of my demise are somewhat exaggerated, to say the least.
Since he only raised $2.5 million in the third quarter many have expected him to drop out. He insisted on Sunday he does not need a lot of money to keep his campaign afloat.

In true Rand Paul style he couldn’t pass up the opportunity to attack someone. This time he attacked Ted Cruz. Paul said Cruz is done in the Senate because he has failed to form personal relationships with his colleagues whereas Paul is supportive of Mitch McConnell and Harry Reid.
I think we do have different styles. My style is when I disagree with someone, not to call them a name of be very inflammatory. I can be strong in what I believe in and I’m willing to stand up for that. But even (Senate Democratic leader) Harry Reid — who’s on the opposite side — I have pretty good relations with him, even though he’s a Democrat, and I wouldn’t call him a liar or I wouldn’t call him dishonest because I don’t think that furthers the debate, even with people you disagree with.
Some feel this is one of the reasons Paul is not gaining traction in the polls. Voters do not want someone who is not only a friend but a supporter of Mitch McConnell and Harry Reid.
