It’s obvious. President Obama does not care about religious freedom for Christians. Ironically as a so-called “Christian” the president is at war with religious institutions. The following is just one story of many.
It is about the case of the Little Sisters. They are catholic nuns who devote their time to care for the elderly poor and they have been fighting against paying for abortion services and contraceptives as required by Obamacare.President Obama’s administration has previously commented about their battle for religious freedom saying: do not give it to them. They have urged the courts to reject an exemption for the Little Sisters. The administration has even filed legal papers appealing a decision made by the Supreme Court to protect the nuns as reported by Breitbart.
In a recent 2-1 ruling in the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals in Denver the Little Sisters lost their quest for religious freedom.

Sister Loraine Marie Maguire said the ruling forces the sisters to choose between violating their faith and neglecting the needy.
She said:
As Little Sisters of the Poor, we simply cannot choose between our care for the elderly poor and our faith. And we should not have to make that choice, because it violates our nation’s commitment to ensuring that people from diverse faiths can freely follow God’s calling in their lives. For over 175 years, we have served the neediest in society with love and dignity. All we ask is to be able to continue our religious vocation free from government intrusion.
If the Little Sisters fail to comply, they are facing as much as $2.5 million in fines a year. That accounts for 40 percent of the money they bring in to care for the needy.
Their lead attorney, Mark Rienzi said the ruling was a “national embarrassment” and he said “the world’s most powerful government” is going after religious freedom.
Sister Loraine said the Obamacare mandate violates their beliefs. Their faith tells them to uphold the inviolable dignity of all human life.” Whereas the mandate “forces the Little Sisters to provide services that destroy human life, contradicting their very mission to respect it.”
Their attorney further commented he will continue to fight for religious freedom even if he has to take the case to the Supreme Court.
