Businessman Donald Trump has officially entered the 2016 Republican presidential primary race.
Yes, we all saw him announced his candidacy last week during a press conference in New York City, but on June 22, 2015, Trump officially turned in is Statement of Candidacy with the Federal Elections Commission.Whether you love him, or just love to hate him, just know that Donald Trump is now an official presidential candidate in the 2016 election cycle.
Trump took to Twitter to make the announcement, and also took some time off form his day to take swipes at his detractors.
