The House Committee investigating the 2012 attack on Benghazi, Libya, subpoenaed former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s personal emails.
This is after we found out the other day she did not use government email accounts while she was Secretary of State. In turn she used her email account from her house that was not only unethical, it could have resulted in a security breach because household email accounts do not have as much security as the governments.Clinton said she is going to have the State department release the emails which further raises the question why doesn’t she release them herself.
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
Representative Trey Gowdy said on Wednesday he would go after Hillary’s emails so now he has them. Next, they have to be reviewed to make sure all of them were included.
Clinton used her lawyer, David E. Kendall to respond to the investigative committee as well. On Wednesday morning he sent a statement to the Democrats and Republicans on the House Committee refuting something the Chairman, Trey Gowdy said about the emails.
Gowdy had told reporters on Tuesday that she used several personal email accounts at the time she was Secretary of State.Kendall fired back and said in the statement:
Secretary Clinton used one email account when corresponding with anyone, from department officials to friends to family.
Ironically her attorney is the same lawyer who represented Bill Clinton during the Monica Lewinsky scandal and during his impeachment trial.
By using a private email account Clinton would not have to have her emails backed up as the government did on a normal basis.
Whereas she is not the first Secretary of State to use a private email address, she is the first to use it exclusively to conduct official business.
