One of the biggest targets is Gov Rick Scott who is running for the U.S. Senate against Sen. Bill Nelson (D).Why would Scott be a target considering that a Nelson loss could solidify a larger Senate majority for Republicans.
Since winning the 2010 gubernatorial sweepstakes, Florida Democrats have marked Scott has been public enemy #1, criticizing and pushing back at every single effort the “jobs governor” has made.
The Scott v. Nelson senate race is a ‘toss-up,’ and momentum could be swaying in Scott’s favor the last month before election night.
This map should scare Democrats. If the election were held today, no less than 4 Democratic Senators would lose their seats.
With that said, Democrats are in a full-court press against Scott.
On this day a year ago, Hurricane Maria struck Puerto Rico. It's beyond dispute that our fellow American citizens did not get all the help they needed from the Trump administration, yet Rick Scott said he didn’t know if he would have done anything differently. pic.twitter.com/LFPWSrigVb
