The Senate hearings over Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s entry into the Supreme Court are underway, and a new advertisement featuring Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi is calling for the Senate to confirm Kavanaugh.
The advertisement comes from 45 Committee, a Super PAC that is aligned to President Donald Trump, and it has Bondi arguing that Kavanaugh is “devoted to his faith, family and friends.”Kavanaugh’s nomination has been met with some controversy over how the future of Roe vs. Wade will go considering that this is the second nomination President Trump has made after Neil Gorsuch was confirmed to take Judge Antonin Scalia’s place after Scalia’s death.
In turn, over 70 protesters were arrested at yesterday’s hearing, and Democrats called for a delay in order to review over 42,000 pages of documents concerning Kavanaugh’s time of working in the White House during George W. Bush’s presidency.

Though there’s contention from the Democratic side, AG Pam Bondi assures in the advertisement that “The senate needs to put gridlock aside and confirm Judge Brett Kavanaugh.”
In addition, one Florida lawmaker that’s been under fire is Senator Bill Nelson because he has not confirmed whether he will or will not be voting in favor of Kavanaugh.
