Considered one of the most controversial and outspoke members of the Democratic Caucus in the U.S. House of Representatives, Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz continues her almost daily anti-Trump diatribe. Wasserman Schultz is now saying that Trump wants Americans to spend “more money on gas” by reducing “fuel efficient standards.” Her claim is based on the bigger claim that Trump is allegedly compromising these fuel standards in order to “reward” Big Oil and his special interests.
What ‘DWS’ is doing is actually appeasing her “climate change” lobby by saying that Trump wants to make the sky fall. Paging Chicken Little…Actually, the sky isn’t falling, and the earth isn’t getting any hotter. Well, if it is, the argument can be made that it isn’t because of man. But to be fair, there still needs to be more research done to address the cause of sea level rise and some other atmospheric anomalies.
By reducing fuel efficiency standards, it's clear Donald Trump wants you to spend more money on gas. He's threatening our clean air and worsening climate change just to reward special interests and giant oil companies.
