As reported earlier in the week, President Trump will be attending a GOP rally at the Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa next Tuesday at 7. The rally will be in support of Congressman Ron DeSantis, Governor Rick Scott and Representative Matt Gaetz.
However, Governor Rick Scott will not be attending the rally. He announced this at a campaign stop in Boca Raton, where he also explained that he didn’t agree with President Trump’s comments concerning President Vladimir Putin.Concerning the Tampa rally, Governor Scott commented that “I am campaigning on my own.”
And, when asked if he would be inviting President Trump to campaign on his behalf, Governor Scott commented that “There will be individuals who come down to campaign for other candidates, but I am focused on my race and making sure people are voting for me because I have a background of doing my job.”

Governor Scott has been polling higher than his opponent, Senator Bill Nelson, and many political strategists are noting that this spells trouble for the Nelson campaign because it is not properly equipped to win his reelection bid.
Congressman DeSantis has also surged in the poll to a double digit lead since he was formally endorsed by the President.
