In one of the most competitive midterm election races of the year, Governor Rick Scott is leading Senator Bill Nelson in yet another newly released poll.
Survey Monkey and Axios released state polls that show Senator Nelson is gonna have a tough time having control of the Senate come November. Scott is currently sitting at 49% over Senator Nelson’s 46%.Alexi McCammond from Axios explained that “It’s looking nearly impossible for Democrats to take back the Senate. So the stakes are even higher for them to win the House if they’re going to have any kind of congressional check on President Trump. The polls shows three Democratic senators are poised to lose their seats to Republicans — Heidi Heitkamp in North Dakota, Bill Nelson in Florida and Joe Donnelly in Indiana….Democrats would pick up seats in Arizona and Nevada, while Republicans keep their seat in Tennessee.”
Most recently, a poll from FLorida International University showed that Governor Scott is better-liked and better-known in the Puerto Rican community.
