With Florida Gov. Rick Scott officially entering the U.S. Senate race against him, and raising big, big money to boot, Senator Bill Nelson (D) is pulling out all the stops and covering as many bases as possible to thwart Scott’s surging campaign.
God bless him. He seems to be making a valiant effort in what could turn out to be a career-ending loss to the popular jobs-creator Scott. In looking at Nelson’s Twitter feed, the senior senator touches on everything from the ongoing opioid epidemic, the U.S. embassy in Jerusalem, airbag recalls, net neutrality, space, healthcare cost (he voted and supported the disastrous Obamacare), anti-Semitism, FEMA, and of course, climate change, which according to Nelson, caused the Hurricanes Maria and Irma.
Notice how Nelson and other Democrats fail (refuse) to mention how the national economy and job creation has “skyrocketed” since President Trump took office.
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
And don’t expect Nelson to mention Florida’s booming economy, because that would only highlight Scott’s “Jobs, Jobs, Jobs” platform of 2010.
One issue Nelson could focus on is term limits for members of Congress, because from the looks of it, his term in office is just about done.
If you’re in FL, please keep an eye on this disturbance in the Gulf. These disturbances are unpredictable & can grow quickly. I’ve called on FEMA to be on standby just in case this disturbance suddenly becomes our first named storm of the year & will continue to monitor closely. pic.twitter.com/VkPlADqNZk
