The “fake news” finally got it right, at least partly right.

Believe it or not, the New York Times columnist, Ross Douthat, who was a Hillary Clinton backer, wrote that Trump beat ISIS and that the rest of the media has ignored that fact.

“If you had told me in late 2016 that almost a year into the Trump era the caliphate would be all-but-beaten without something far worse happening in the Middle East, I would have been surprised and gratified.”

Douthat stated that the lack of coverage by the mainstream media of the Trump defeat of ISIS was a “press failure,” adding that the whole rise of terrorist group in that region of the world was “the defining foreign policy calamity of Barack Obama’s second term” in office.

The media continues harping on this Mueller investigation, which is beginning to unravel all on its own, as the Hillary Clinton-supporting cast of handpicked attorneys have clearly displayed signs of bias against the Trump Administration have come out in the past several weeks.

Regardless of what Democrats and the media will say about this first year in office, the fact remains that President Trump did what President Obama failed to do.

Obama failed to defeat ISIS. Trump didn’t.
