Former Trump supporter Ann Coulter seems a bit bothered over the President’s apparent lack of action on immigration reform. Coulter tweeted that Trump’s first significant policy bill was on “TAX CUTS” and not “the wall, not about anchor babies, not about chain migration of entire Somali villages to Minneapolis…”
To counter Coulter, Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz (R) responded to by reminding the conservative author that the first major piece of legislation Trump signed was on VA reform.First bill under @realDonaldTrump not about the wall, not about anchor babies, not about chain migration of entire Somali villages to Minneapolis, but … TAX CUTS. This is Bush Redux.

Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
Here is Gaetz’s response:
Actually, the first bill was allowing @realDonaldTrump to fire people at the VA – a major campaign promise fulfilled for the vets in my district and across America. https://t.co/t6CzvZTvaY

Gaetz is right. Since Trump signed the VA reform bill, hundreds of employees have been held accountable and fired.
“Rubio’s bill, which passed in the congress and signed by the president, is paying huge dividends for both Republicans, as hundreds of VA employees have already been fired since it was signed into law on June 23, 2017.
Since the law’s inception, some 743 VA employees have been fired, 37 demoted, and and another 260 have been suspended, this according to a White House official who wished to remain anonymous.”-VA Reform Bill
