After Wassermann Schultz’s former aide Iwran Awani was fired after being arrested and charge with federal bank fraud, the congresswoman from Florida defiantly said she had no regrets for keeping her aide on staff, even after authorities first said that Awani was under investigation.Wasserman Schultz’s Democratic colleagues in the House who also employed Awani, all fired him upon learning that he was at the center of a federal probe.
