Republican Congressman and potential gubernatorial candidate Ron DeSantis has penned a letter to Attorney General Jeff Session asking him to freeze the remaining assets of former Democratic House IT Aide Iwran Awani.

Awani, who was employed by several members of the Democratic congressional caucus in Florida, was recently arrested on bank fraud charges.

Rep. Wasserman Schultz, who has been felt the brunt of the negative press regarding Awani’s arrest because she did not fire him upon finding out that he was under federal investigation, finally opened up her former aide. Read more here.
