President Obama’s foreign policy agenda to make nice with the world’s largest state sponsor of terrorism, Iran, is slowing being dismantled by now-President Trump and Republicans in the US Congress.
While he hasn’t pulled out of the Obama’s executive agreement, and been forced to certify that Iran has been compliant with the agreed upon terms, Trump is potentially trying to find a way to ditch US involvement in the deal.Government sources are speculating that the president is looking for a reason to label the terrorist state as being non-compliant with Obama’s agreement.
While President Trump sorts out his options to pull out of the Iranian nuclear deal, the U.S. House of Representatives is giving him something to chew on, for now.
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
The House just passed the Make America Secure Appropriations Act, which includes Florida Congressman Ron DeSantis’ amendment to ban an Obama-era initiative to buy heavy water from Iran.
Do the math.
US taxpayer dollars spent to buy hard water from Iran + Iran nuclear Deal = Funding radical Islamic terrorismHere is what DeSantis had to say about the amendment via press release:
“The United States should not use taxpayer money to subsidize Iran’s dangerous nuclear activities through the purchase of heavy water. We must ensure that we do not repeat the mistakes of the Obama Administration by enabling this Islamist regime. I applaud my colleagues for voting to put this prohibition into law and ending the flow of taxpayer dollars to the world’s leading state sponsor of terrorism.”
Here are some of the things that the Make America Secure Act covers:
