Who says the 2018 US Senate race in Florida hasn’t started yet?
Democratic Senator Bill Nelson has just pushed back against his probably senatorial opponent, Gov. Rick Scott (R), questioning him on caring about the “people of Florida.”Here is what Nelson said:
“Rick Scott is supporting and urging Republican senators to vote for a bill that makes huge cuts to Medicaid, takes coverage away from 22 million people and allows insurance companies to hike rates for older Americans,” Nelson said in a statement. “If he really cared about the people of Florida, he’d be doing the exact opposite of what he’s doing now.”
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
The Senate healthcare bill is dead, for now. Senator Rubio (R) was not onboard with the bill that he felt didn’t go as far as he wanted. Rubio and Scott have both been leading figures in the push to repeal and replace the “disaster” they call Obamacare.
Scott poses a real threat to Nelson. If he runs (he will), will have all the money he needs, as well as the support from President Trump and GOP-friendly groups to win. But don’t count Nelson out. The Democrats will have his “six.”
