Handel Defeats Ossof, Democrats Not Too Happy

It’s finally over.

The much anticipated Left vs. Right congressional run-off election between Karen Handel and Jon Ossof in Georgia, came to an end Tuesday night with Handel besting her opponent by a margin of 52-48 percent.

Democrats went all in to try to win this Republican-heavy congressional district, but in the end, and after both sides spent a record-shattering $50 million, the GOP came out on top.

Credit needs to be given to Ossof, who made a race of it. This is former Congressman Tom Price (R), who was tapped by President Trump to head the Department of Health and Human Resources.
