After staying under the radar for most of her two-terms as Florida’ s Attorney General, refraining from gratuitously lending her political endorsement election year after election year, Pam Bondi has come out in support of her childhood friend, former Hillsborough Circuit Court Judge Ashley Moody.
Bondi told the Tampa Bay Times that she is backing Moody, saying that she believes her friend “will outwork” any one that runs in for the office, including Rep. Jay Fant, whose current Attorney General campaign is being run by Bondi’s former campaign consultant, Brett Doster.
“I’ve known her most of her life…I don’t think there could be a more qualified candidate for attorney general in the entire state of Florida. I whole-heartedly support Ashley and I’m proud of her for wanting to sacrifice so much for our state.”-AG Pam Bondi
