The latest congressional measure  forcing accountability on Syrian  President Bashar al-Assad for the genocide and war crimes his regime has committed against his own people, has just passed approval in the U.S. Senate.

The Syrian government is said to have use warplanes to attack rebels with Sarin gas this past April.

This attack prompted President Donald Trump command a military strike on the Syrian military air base where the attack was allegedly launched from.

Florida Senator Marco Rubio (R) along with Maryland Senator Ben Cardin (D) saw their Syrian War Crimes Accountability Act pass in the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.
