He was down, but not out.
Elections cycles in Miami-Dade County just wouldn’t be the same if former state Representative and U.S. Congressman David Rivera (R), didn’t have a seat at the table.Rivera is taking another stab at running for elected office in Miami-Dade County.
Rivera, who narrowly lost a recount race in House District 118 in 2016 to Democrat Robert Asencio, has just filed to run in House District 105.
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
The Miami Herald reported that Rivera told them he was running for office again by “many constituents.”
Rep. Carlos Trujillo (R) currently holds the seat, but may not finish out his last term in office because of a possible ambassadorship position that he may be tapped for.
Regardless of whether or not Trujillo leaves his post or not, Rivera will surely liven up the 2018 election season. Dale!
