Washington, D.C.-During Day 2 of the US Supreme Court confirmation hearing of Judge Neil Gorsuch, Democratic Senator Diane Feinstein tried in earnest to get Judge Neil Gorsuch to take sides on key hot topic issues like the Second Amendment and equal pay.
The Supreme Court has spoken…Heller is the law of the land.-Judge Neil Gorsuch
To Gorsuch’s credit, the appellate judge stood firm against Feinstein by answering her questioned impartially, as it was expected he would.
Feinstein echoed what the New York Times and other Democrats have been saying in that Judge Gorsuch was “not for the

little guy” but for big corporations.
After Feinstein asked him to furnish her a list of cases where he sided with individuals over corporations, Gorsuch affirmed that he would do so, but went even further and started rattling off a list of those cases.
Towards the end of Feinstein’s questioning, Gorsuch passionately told the senator that she could expect nothing more than fairness and impartiality from him, if he is confirmed to sit on the Supreme Court.I’d like to convey to you. From the bottom of my heart, is that I am a fair judge…And Senator, I can’t guarantee you more than that, but I can promise you nothing less.
Sen. Patrick Leahy (D) followed Feinstein’s lead and press for the same answer. Gorsuch didn’t flinch.
