Florida Governor Rick Scott continues on his statewide offensive against Republican legislators focused on closing down his two job-creating and marketing government agencies-Visit Florida and Enterprise Florida.
With Trump winning the presidency and Republicans gaining control of the U.S. Congress, “why can’t we just all get along?”Speaker Richard Corcoran (R) is leading the charge to shut down the alleged “corporate welfare” and state-funded Visit Florida and EFI, prompting Scott to make him the focus of his aggression to keep the two state agencies afloat.
Scott’s recent campaign-style attack ad against Corcoran was epic. Corcoran shrugged off the video by telling the Shark Tank that he was happy they used a good picture of him for the video.
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
Scott is now embarking on another statewide tour to promote EFI and Visit Florida, and to bash those Corcoran-led and anti-EFI Republican legislators.
Scott is calling out all of the Republican legislators that oppose EFI and Visit Florida, including Rep. Halsey Beshears, who has voted to kill both marketing agencies.
Why in the world would Halsey Beshears – or anybody else – vote to eliminate Enterprise Florida and vote to decimate Visit Florida.”-Gov. Rick Scott (TB Times)
This fight between Scott and Corcoran’s gang this legislative session keeps getting uglier by the day, and there doesn’t seem to be any let-up in the near future.
Governor Scott will veto any bill to scrap EFI and Visit Florida. You can bet you last peso on that.
