Senator Marco Rubio surprised everyone when he took Rex Tillerson, President Donald Trump’s pick for Secretary of State, to task during his confirmation hearing a couple weeks back.
Rubio said that he had a job to do, and needed to make sure that all of the cabinet nominations were properly questioned.Rubio is right. Regardless of whether you support Trump or not, anyone who is up for an appointment or nomination of this nature, must be thoroughly vetted including their domestic and foreign ties.
Now the “American Son” will either have to vote for or against Tillerson today when the Senate Foreign Affairs Committee meets in Washington.

How will Rubio vote?
While Sens McCain and Graham have already stated their support for Tillerson, Rubio could decide to buck Trump’s pick, opening up his broadside to a certain Twitter account.
Then again, because Rubio is a politician and his political party has control of all three branches of government, he may just vote to confirm Tillerson to keep the Trump wolves off him.
