One newly-elected Congressman, Charlie Crist (D), may have spoken to God about President-elect Donald Trump’s possible softening on illegal immigration reform.Trump ran on a hardline immigration position during the 2016 election cycle, but recently told Time magazine that he “going to work something out that’s going to make people happy and proud.”

Crist likes what he hears now Trump, saying that “God would be pleased” with his new position on “Dreamers.”
“Being a nation of immigrants, I think it’s important we embrace that kind of hope … I would say to the president-elect, ‘I appreciate you showing your heart. And if it’s a little softer, what’s wrong with that? God would be pleased,’” Rep. Charlie Crist, CNN’s “State of the Union.”
