The #NeverTrump lobby has reached a new low, and has all-but cast themselves as being an outright ignorant and pathetic voting bloc that is still bitter that Donald Trump beat Hillary Clinton in the presidential election.
Besides spewing their anti-Trump vitriol on social media and to any and all mainstream media outlets that would listen, the Republican side of the anti-Trump movement has also reverted to personally attacking individuals who support now-President-elect Donald Trump.According to Allison Nielsen at Sunshine State News, incoming state legislature Joe Gruters (R) has been peppered with both hate email and traditional mail by individuals who disagree with his longstanding support for Donald Trump.
Well, there you have it. The crazies have confirmed what we always suspected of them. Some emails tell Gruters to “seek professional help.” Others are littered with four-letter expletives about Trump and Gruters himself.

“You’re what’s wrong with this country,” reads one email. “May Donald Trump one day rape your children too. Let’s hope.”-SSN
Gruters, who verbalized his support for Trump early on in the 2016 election cycle, and also spoke at Trump’s first Miami rally back in October 2015, recently told the Shark Tank how he thought Trump’s campaign affected him, as well as discussing what plans he may have in the upcoming 2017 legislative session.
During the Republican primary election, Gruters said that about 15-20 percent of the electorate that voted primary “preferred someone other than Trump,” which he believes he “automatically lost their vote.”
Gruters also added, “relationship are double-edged swords,” and strongly feels that his relationship and support for then-candidate Donald Trump worked for and against him.
“It hurt me as much as it helped me.”- Rep-elect Joe Gruters on his support of Donald Trump.
2017 Florida Legislative SessionGruters is using all of the same safe political jargon as most elected officials saying that he wants to “make Florida the best possible place to live and work, continue to help the Governor, Senate, and the House.”
“We have strong conservative majorities, and one of the best governors in entire country.”
Gruters also says that he will be filing ‘very conservative” campaign-related bills in the upcoming weeks.
