Sharon Day, RNC Co-Chairwoman, will join Reince Priebus in the Trump Administration.
Their replacements as chairperson and Co-chair will respectively be Ronna Romney McDaniels from Michigan and Bob Paduchik from Ohio.In a statement by the RNC announcing Sharon’s addition to the Trump team, the RNC informed that “after a six-year tenure at the RNC characterized by substantial Republican gains at every level of government, Chairman Reince Priebus will serve in the Trump Administration as President-elect Donald J. Trump’s Chief of Staff” and that “Co-Chair Sharon Day looks forward to joining the Trump Administration as well.”
As reported by the Tampa Bay Times, in a short phone interview with the Miami Herald, Sharon Day commented that “we’re still determining and discussing” when it came to the time that she’d formally join the administration and the role that she’d assume. Day also added that she looks forward to helping in “whatever I can to make sure the president-elect is successful.”

In a party statement, she said that she was “excited to begin working alongside Bob Paduchik as our Deputy Co-Chair. Our goals will remain keeping our Party strong in every state and putting ourselves in position to win elections wherever Republicans are running.”
