Just when the voters thought they saw the last of former State Attorney Angela Corey, she is back. This time she will be working for Clay County Sheriff-Elect Darryl Daniels.

Clay County Sheriff-Elect Darryl Daniels has appointed Florida State Attorney Angela Corey to serve as general counsel.

Ms. Corey is the subject matter expert when it comes to the application of the law and conveying that to law enforcement.

Granted, she is good at what she does and she has a lot of experience but on the flip side some voters are not happy with the selection.

Ms. Corey will bring her more than 30 years of experience as a prosecutor to conduct extensive training for mid-managers, supervisors and deputies on properly applying probate cause to affect lawful arrests.

Corey will be replacing former general counsel, Jim Pimentel.
