On Wednesday Joe Biden told reporters “I have no intention of running” for president in 2020. Just a few days ago while on Stephen Colbert’s “The Late Show” he said he has learned to “never say never” when asked about running for president.
Biden also told reporters:I’m a great respecter of fate. I don’t plan on running again. But to say you know what’s going to happen in four years, I just think is — is not rational.
On Monday after he wrapped up a Senate session Biden had teased reporters about running. He said:

Prior to being President Barack Obama’s vice president, Biden represented Delaware for 36 years in the Senate. He also ran for president twice.
For now, I think it is safe to say he has not made up his mind.
