The world over is still shell-shocked over President-elect Donald Trump’s historic win over Hillary Clinton, and Trump’s past and present detractors are now moving closer to kissing the ring of power he wields.
Even after he won the Republican presidential nomination, establishment Republicans like Speaker Paul Ryan, Senators John McCain and Lindsey Graham, all pulled their support for Trump, leaving media types and politicians to he was left out to dry, and could not possibly win the presidency without them.They were wrong.
Trump’s crushing victory sent a scathing message to both Democrats and Republicans of how much everyday Americans were dissatisfied by the way political party capos and leaders were running their country.

One of Trump’s presidential primary opponents, Florida Senator Marco Rubio, was the first of his detractors to support Trump once he won the nomination.

They listened to the frustrations and anxieties of the American people after eight years of failure in Washington and earned this opportunity to lead the country. Their victory, along with Republican Senate and House victories across the country, are a clear rejection of business as usual in Washington.

After suffering a crushing loss to Trump in his home state of Florida during the presidential primary election, Rubio was all-but forced to run for re-election to the Senate to preserve his legacy.
Rubio’s political legacy has now been given a new lease on life.
Remember, during his victory speech, Trump said he wasn’t sure how long he would serve as president.

President Obama, who must know that there is I high probability that Donald Trump will re-write his entire presidential legacy, also congratulated and offered his support in making the transition period for the incoming Trump Administration as smooth as possible.
