The general election is less than a week away, senatorial candidate Rep. Patrick Murphy (D) will not relent on his apparent obsession with Senator Marco Rubio’s support for Republican presidential nominee, Donald Trump.
Murphy fanaticism for a supposed Rubio-Trump bromance has become his campaign platform and only line of attack against the incumbent U.S. Senator.Murphy does hit Rubio on missed time and votes in the U.S. Senate while he ran for president, but this doesn’t compare to the ongoing attack against Rubio at Trump’s expense.
Rubio, "the far-right Floridian" who has called Trump a ‘con man,' still supports his party's nominee. #FLSen https://t.co/9HUb0exY50

Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
Even as multiple media outlets eviscerated him after the past two senatorial debates for invoking Donald Trump’s name just about every time he answered a question, Murphy continues to chide Rubio for not pulling his endorsement of Trump because of the language he used in 2005 to reference women.
The Trump line of attack is understandable, but continuing to use it is overkill, and could backfire on Murphy, considering that Hillary Clinton’s email scandal has just been given new life by the FBI.Murphy, who usually isn’t as active on Twitter as his counterpart Rubio is, has recently been tweeting his Rubio-Trump talking point. In a couple of his tweets, Murphy calls Rubio a “coward” and rips him for voting for Donald Trump.
One of Murphy’s tweets quotes a Miami Herald opinion story written by a known partisan writer, Carl Hiassen about Rubio’s support for Trump.
“How does Rubio reconcile his horrifying portrait of his party’s nominee w his alleged support of the man’s candidacy?”

While Murphy and Democrats are quick to question Rubio’s continued support for Trump after that now infamous Access Hollywood video tape was released, a similar question can be posed to Murphy.
With the FBI investigating (again) her secret email server that compromised U.S. national security, and her deletion of over 33,000 other emails that now appear to have been purposely scrubbed from her server to prevent to shield her from any possible criminal culpability, why are you still supporting Hillary Clinton?
“On another matter….and not to sound like Lanny, but we are going to have to dump all those emails.”-John Podesta, Hillary Clinton campaign chairman (Wikileaks)

Podesta sent this email to Clinton aide Cheryl Mills in March 2015, and could indicate intent.
The senate race between Rubio and Murphy has tightened a bit, but voting trends seem to favor Trump winning Florida.
Will Trump’s surge and potential win in Florida carry Rubio, or is it the other way around?
Well, considering that Rubio has higher favorability numbers in Florida than Trump, it is probably a good bet that Rubio beats Murphy next week.
