As we get closer to election day, it appears that senatorial candidate Rep. Patrick Murphy (D) is having a hard time remembering what his past work experience was, among other things.
Senator Rubio and his campaign, along with supporting political action committees, have been quick to point out that Murphy was never a registered CPA in the state of Florida.Murphy is a CPA in Colorado, but not in Florida. This is a fact. So for Murphy to continue to lie to Floridians about being a CPA in the state draws the question, “Dude, what are you smoking?”
Rubio put out a letter from Florida’s Department of Business & Professional Regulations, which states that the state agency has no record of “Patrick Erin Murphy” having a CPA license.

The letter also states that in order for someone to practice accounting in the state, they must have a Florida CPA license to do so.
The Shark Tank called and confirmed with the agency that Murphy is not registered in the state as a CPA.
What’s worse is that Murphy doubled-down on the lie about working as a CPA in Florida.During a televised interview with NBC 6 in Miami, the news anchor ask Murphy if he has “worked as a CPA in the state of Florida?”
Murphy answered:
“Of course. I worked at Deloitte & Touche, one of the largest accounting firms in the world. I worked there for three years as an auditor and CPA. And when I left Deloitte, I started a small environmental company to help clean up after the BP oil spill that was threatening the West coast of Florida and threatening the Florida Keys where I’m from and was able to do as much as I could to help clean up.”
Whatever it is he is smoking-Pot, Flakka, Crack, or whatever, someone needs to intervene and save him from further embarrassment.
In addition to telling to the CPA lie, Murphy has also been caught in another lie, this one is about his family working with Donald Trump.Murphy’s entire senatorial campaign is predicated on linking Rubio to GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump.
Trump is this election cycles boogeyman, for obvious reason.
But while Murphy continues to deny that his family worked with Donald Trump in the past, Murphy’s dad, Papa (Tom) Murphy, Sr., has openly proclaimed his ‘bromance’ for Donald Trump after striking a deal with the real estate billionaire in 2007.

Now, here is Papa Murphy’s talking about his dealings with Trump:

Murphy’s father Tom has been his biggest political financial supporter and closest confidant. How is it that father and son did not think about comparing notes before going after Rubio with Trump.
