Under three weeks to go before Floridians take to the polls, and it appears as if the medicinal marijuana will be legalized in Florida.
In 2014, the initiative to legalize marijuana for medicinal purposes narrowly lost, but it looks like this year will be different.
United for Care, the group pushing the legalizing of pot for medical purpose, released an internal poll last week showing that 74 percent of Florida’s likely voters support their measure.
Drug Free Florida, United for Care’s counterpart, and who was successful in defeating the marijuana initiative in 2014, has also been feverishly spending cash in hopes to be successful this election year.
