During the first senatorial debate between Senator Marco Rubio (R) and Rep. Patrick Murphy (D), which was held at the University of Central Florida campus in Orlando, Murphy’s sole line of attack seemed to be trying to tie Rubio to Donald Trump.
Murphy kept pointing out how Rubio has not disavow and pulled his endorsement of Trump after the Republican presidential nominee’s 2005 hot mice “grab the by the pu**y” statement that was caught on video.Rubio has stated his disgust for Trump’s remark, but that wasn’t enough for Murphy. Murphy was relentless with his attack against Rubio with Trump.
“If he wasn’t such a coward he would stand up immediately and withdraw his endorsement…It speaks, unfortunately, to who he is as a person. For Marco Rubio to continue putting his own political ambitions in front of what he knows is best … I don’t know how he can look himself in the mirror after these comments and think it’s OK.”-Rep. Murphy’s attacks prompted Rubio to point to a picture Murphy himself posted years ago where he is groping a woman’s breast.

Team Rubio will surely point out Murphy’s hypocrisy considering the congressman’s past.Donald Trump never groped or admitted he groped any woman. Patrick Murphy on “the other hand” (pun intended), did.
