Hurricane Matthew left a lot of destruction across Florida and some Jacksonville neighborhoods were hit very hard.
As of Friday morning 1,630 people in Jacksonville are still out of electricity due to the storm and that includes Mandarin resident Amir Dabiri.Below is the JEA power outage map:
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
Dabiri decided on Day 6 to start writing hilarious emails to Mayor Curry in an effort to get his electricity back on “for the love of God.”
In his first email plea to Curry he wrote:
Still no power – It is getting really lonely out here in the wilderness. SO DAMN HOT. I am down to my last bag of oats.
Dabiri continued to state if he died to let his mom and dad know he loved them and to tell Scarlett O’Hara “I do give a damn.”
After no response from that email, he decided to email Curry again on Day 7 and update him on his status.
Dabiri stated:
Not sure how much longer I can take it, I have begun talking to myself and replying back. I am getting worried.
He continued to say he thinks Hillary Clinton gained access to Curry’s emails and deleted his last email because he never got a response back.
We reached out to Mayor Curry’s office to see why they were not responding to Dabiri’s pleas and his spokeswoman Tia Ford had the following to say:
Friday would be Day 8 that Dabiri still doesn’t have electricity and we would hope before the aliens invaded his house, JEA would turn it back on.If they don’t Mayor Curry will most likely be getting another hilarious plea for Dabiri updating him on the deteriorating conditions at his house.I’ve been advised that an email response has since been provided to Amir Dabiri. As I am sure you’re aware, the mayor received quite a few emails from residents regarding power outages as he encouraged them to reach out in an effort to support their needs. Information from those who reached out was collected by City staff and shared with JEA. While JEA is an independent agency, the mayor remains committed to holding them accountable for the work and service they provide.
