With less than a month left before Floridians head to the polls, Democratic senatorial candidate Rep. Patrick Murphy, who is trailing incumbent Senator Marco Rubio in a string of statewide public opinion polls, continues to be pelted by special interest groups and organizations.
One of the largest groups that have made Murphy’s senatorial candidacy their main pet project this election cycle is Americans for Prosperity, or AFP.AFP has been relentless in their pursuit to bring on Murphy’s demise, hammering him on every issue, and at every corner he turns at.
Murphy recently attended a Hillary Clinton for president campaign rally in the boogie down better known as Miami, where he stated that he ran for the U.S. Congress “on a promise to fight for Florida families, and that means strengthening the middle class.”
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
Of course AFP decided to dig into Murphy’s “family” oriented voting record in Congress.
As health insurance carriers continue to hike up the cost of individual healthcare plans, more and more Americans are waking up to the fact that Obamacare is very bad for them.
Even President Obama and the Clinton agreed that the healthcare law has become the “unaffordable.”Patrick Murphy voted nine times in support of Obamcare, aka the “Unaffordable” Care Act
Food prices are continuing to go up, just visit your local Sedano’s Supermercado, Publix, or Juan & Andres’ Produce Pantry the next time you go to buy a pack of arepas and see for yourselves.
Patrick Murphy voted in favor of the Farm Bill. The bill paid some farms not grow food for whatever reason.
Next time you get a power shut-off notice in the mail from FPL, thank Patrick Murphy.“Farmers are often incentivized to ‘farm’ the subsidies themselves, by growing crops where they can maximize their subsidies instead of meeting the demands of the market… It may surprise Americans that their government essentially dictates the price of sugar, raising it artificially by limiting the amount of sugar that is sold.” Jim DeMint, “Farm Bill Should Promote Competition,”Winona Daily News, 10/12/2016
Murphy has supported President Obama’s EPA regulations which AFP says “could” drive energy prices up to 15 percent more than where they are now.
“Patrick Murphy’s promises of strengthening the middle class and fighting for Florida families are as exaggerated as his resume. The policies he supports are crippling our middle class and raising prices on everything from electricity to healthcare. How do we strengthen the middle class? We ensure Patrick Murphy is defeated in November.” –Chris Hudson, AFP Boss
