Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R) released an ad today that focuses on her work to better the economy, to create more jobs in South Florida, and to fight against the effects of rising sea levels.

This comes as a response to her rival, Scott Fuhrman (D), who’s recently gone after Congressman Lehtinen for her support for an embargo with Cuba. He accuses her of standing for the past and not willing to work for progress between both countries.
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
Dexter Lehtinen, Ileana’s husband and campaign manager, said, as reported by the Miami Herald, that Fuhrman is disregarding her foreign policy work and how she has “led human rights around the world, promoted our local economy, worked to combat the effects of sea level rise, and prides herself on her rapid and effective constituent service.” He went on to add that Fuhrman “ignores the fact that following the concessions to the Castro regime, oppression has increased in Cuba and the number of people risking their lives to flee the dictatorship that represses them has also increased.”
In turn, this has become a close race for Florida’s 27th congressional district.
