It seems as if liberal Democratic congressional candidate Tim Canova hasn’t stopped campaigning since being trounced by Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D) in Florida’s Democratic primary race for congressional district 23.
About a week after the losing the election, Canova, a professor a Nova Southeastern University, filed Federal Election Commission paperwork to begin fundraising for another congressional run against Wasserman Schultz. While Wasserman Schultz, who is focused on combating the Zika virus and is expected to cream (again) her Republican congressional general election opponent, crazy Joe Kaufman, Canova has put his 2018 congressional campaign against her in gear.
Canova is still campaigning against the ‘rigging’ of elections by establishment types like Wasserman Schultz. Canova accused Wasserman Schultz of rigging the Democratic primary race.
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
Here is Canova tweeting about how American elections need to be changed in how they are conducted.
Need transparent and verifiable elections: paper ballots counted by hand in public & reported by precincts, as done in European democracies! https://t.co/Br63wCV0vo

You almost have to admire Tim “Mas” Canova’s drive and resilience to run for what he believes in. Canova felt “the Bern”, meaning that he supported Senator Bernie Sanders over Hillary Clinton.
Canova’s was able to garner much of the liberal Democratic votes and campaign cash that usually aligned itself with Wasserman Schultz in past elections.
Wasserman Schultz raised her money, she just didn’t expect Canova to raise $3.8 million for his campaign against her. No one did.
Look, there is no love lost between Canova and Wasserman Schultz. While Wasserman Schultz may not hate Canova, the congresswoman took issue with Canova’s campaign tactics.
Why wouldn’t she? Canova exploited every political angle he could to beat her.Canova on the other hand may still have some pent up animosity against Wasserman Schultz.
Is Canova still a bit upset over losing to ‘DWS’?
You be the judge. Here is what Canova wrote after losing his race:
And along the way, we raised the heat on Debbie Wasserman Schultz and we played a key role in forcing her resignation from the pinnacle of the Democratic national party.
Thanks to the historic challenge YOU made possible in this election — a challenge Wasserman Schultz had never faced before — our opponent was forced to flip and flop on such issues as clean water, fracking, payday lending, the Trans-Pacific Partnership, Social Security expansion, medical marijuana, and even her ties to Big Sugar companies contributing to the poisoning of Florida’s waterways. Our campaign changed the terms of debate in this election and Wasserman Schultz will be under more scrutiny in the future and will have only a more difficult time serving her corporate benefactors.
In the coming months, you can expect Canova to attempt to wrangle up as much free earned media as he can.
Of course, Canova will do all of this the expense of Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz.
