With just about every single public opinion poll showing Senator Marco Rubio (R) beating Rep. Patrick Murphy (D) (pictured) in Florida’s very important U.S. Senate race, Democrats are pivoting on how best to attack incumbent Rubio, and which issues to press forward with.
The latest RealClearPolitics.com average of polls has Rubio leading Murphy by 5.7 percent. The latest Monmouth University poll has Rubio up by 2 percent.Because Rubio’s foreign policy bona fides are beyond reproach, and because he has been saddled with the questionable actions of the Obama Administration, foreign affairs is probably an issue that Team Murphy needs to stay away from.
It looks as if Patrick Murphy and the Democratic Party have seen the writing on the wall, and have now turned to attacking Rubio on the issue of Abortion.

Rubio is pro-life and has gone on record of saying that he doesn’t believe that pregnant women infected with the Zika virus should be allowed to have an abortion. Murphy, who is pro-choice to the bone, just an ad that goes after Rubio’s hardline position against a woman’s right to choose.
