The fight to legalize Marijuana for medicinal use continues in Florida, and is once again being fueled by casino cash.
Casino mogul Sheldon Adelson was donated another $1 million to defeat the Amendment 2 initiative that would legalized marijuana for medical purposes.Back in 2014, when the Amendment failed to reach the 60 percent statewide supported needed for approval, Adelson and his $5.5 million can be credited for helping to defeat it.
The Yes on 2 folks are not taking Adelson’s donating lying down, and have decided that their best course of action is to try to fundraise off the donation.
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
According to Drug Free Florida, who is pushing the No on 2 initiative, Doctors are opposed legalizing marijuana.
The AAP and the ASAM are both against medical marijuana laws. The AMA doesn’t support them either. Vote #NoOn2!https://t.co/5jMRXWUVW5

Pro-pot financier, Attorney John Morgan (pictured), is lending his name to the fundraising efforts.
United for Care, head honcho, Ben Pollara, has also decided to pen a letter asking for more money to push back against Adelson:They’re after us again… and now they’ve raised $2.8 million (from only 21 contributors). $2.7 of it has come from three people.Â
It’s unfortunate that they are standing in the way of giving doctors the right to decide what’s best for their patients… but we’re not going to let them stop us.
Frankly, it’s only firing me up.Â
If each one of you on this list donated $30 here WE WOULD RAISE MILLIONS.ÂWe would win. For certain.Â
We have a matching donor. We have you. Â We just need you to contribute (or contribute again) here.
BELIEVE!!!!!

The No on 2 campaign has reserved their first chunk of TV ads… and they’re spending hundreds of thousands of dollars right out of the gate. They just got another $1 million from Sheldon Adelson.
WE MUST RESPOND IN KIND.
We now have a new matching donor who wants to help us reach our goal of 10,000 total donations before 11/1. As of this email, we are 77% of the way there, and need roughly 2,299 more donations.Â
Our opposition has already raised $2.8 million dollars and have said they plan to raise $7 million more. If they do, we could again be drastically outspent.Â

Please donate today to help us do everything we can to help ensure Amendment 2 passes on November 8th.
And then there is the No on 2 initiative backed by Drug Free Florida, Â who love to get at John Morgan, and just have just scored a public opinion victory, as five former Florida Supreme Court justices have come out in opposition to Amendment 2.
