It appears as if Florida could, and probably will decide who will the next president of the United States.
Democrat Hillary Clinton is edging out Donald Trump in states where the Republican presidential nominee historically usually wins, including Florida. This is not good news for Republicans, but there is still time for Trump to surge past Clinton in these states, regardless of the fact that an increase in Hispanics being polled are what is fueling Clinton’s early nationwide success.
Since President Obama narrowly beat Republican Mitt Romney in 2012, Democrats have seen their overall voter registration advantage over the GOP cut in half from 535,987 to 259,321.
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
Also, no party affiliation (NPA) or “Independent” voter rolls have increased by over 300,000. NPA’s usually tend to be former Republican voters.
This is good for Republicans, but can Republicans mitigate the damage Democrats will do in their continued labeling of Trump as a racist who wants to deport all Hispanics?
Back to what I stated a few weeks back. Senator Marco Rubio will play a big role, if the not the biggest, in helping Trump and Republicans win Florida. The latest polls have both Rubio and Clinton up in Florida, even after losing to Trump in the GOP presidential primary earlier this year.
While Floridian’s still like Rubio, which include many Hispanics from both sides of the political aisle, can the American-Cuban Senator from West Miami bring over enough of those #neverTrump supporters and disenfranchised Latinos to help carry the state for Trump?
Just in case you are thinking that the end is near, and that Trump will lose to Clinton, remember that a huge bulk of Trump’s support comes from those Americans that are not usually politically involved.
Those supporters are not the usual bunch that are targeted by pollsters-they are not likely voters, rather unlikely ones.
Hey, don’t forget about the Bernie Sanders wing of the Democratic Party electorate. This group of voters is besides themselves after it was found out that Clinton and the Democratic Party were actively trying to sink Sanders’ presidential campaign, and may have succeeded in doing so.My hairdresser, who is a very, very liberal Sanders Democrat, told me that she hates “corrupt Clinton” and will vote for Donald Trump because she believes that the country needs a businessman-type of president.
Are there enough anti-Hillary Democratic voters out there to even the playing field for Trump?
With all of this said, Trump needs to step it up.
