Look, I get it. The Bush family and their political universe are still upset over the loss they endured to Donald Trump this past presidential primary election.
I also understand that many of us do not see eye-to-eye with Trump on some issues, but c’mon Sally, are you really going to vote for Hillary Clinton? That is just nuts.
Sally Bradshaw, one of Jeb Bush’s closest advisors, says she has left the GOP and will cast her vote for Hillary Clinton if the presidential race in Florida “is close.”
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
And if it isn’t close, will Sally vote for Trump, or will she still vote for Hillary?
Here is what Bradshaw told CNN about her intentions:
“This election cycle is a test…As much as I don’t want another four years of [President Barack] Obama’s policies, I can’t look my children in the eye and tell them I voted for Donald Trump. I can’t tell them to love their neighbor and treat others the way they wanted to be treated, and then vote for Donald Trump. I won’t do it.”
But what will Bradshaw tell her kids if her vote for Hillary Clinton ushers in Barack Obama’s third term of un-American foreign and domestic policies that ultimately lead to years of financial misery, and possibly the death of many Americans in the fight against Islamic terrorism?
“If the race in Florida is close, I will vote for Hillary Clinton…It is a very difficult statement for me to make. I disagree with her on several important issues. I have worked to elect Republicans to national and statewide offices for the last 30 years. I have never voted for a Democrat for president, and I consider myself a conservative, a supporter of limited government, gun rights, free enterprise, equality of opportunity. I am pro-life. There are no other candidates who were serious contenders for the nomination that I would not have supported.”-Sally Bradshaw
But while she says she has never voted for any Democrat for president, has Bradshaw voted for a Democrat for U.S. Senate, the House, or any state or municipal office?
Unlike most Americans who are currently struggle in this Obama economy, Bradshaw doesn’t have to worry about money, after all, she has made a boat load of cash over the years, and let’s not forget that her husband runs the second-largest lobbying firm in the state of Florida.
I understand Sally Bradshaw’s frustration over the way Trump went after just about every GOP presidential opponent, and perhaps how “The Donald” comes off to most people. Some of the things Trump has said has even made me take pause.
But Bradshaw and the rest of the anti-Trump Republican Party, as well as those #neverTrump yahoos, need to know that a vote for Hillary Clinton is a vote against American values.
