State Representative Dr. Fred Costello (R) was the only one of several Republican to not drop his bid for the U.S. Congress once Congressman Ron DeSantis (R) decided to run for re-election to his seat.
Considering that he faces a steep, uphill race against the popular conservative congressman, Costello continues to grind away, and has manage to garner are respectable amount of support for his campaign.Costello is pushing the fact that he has won a straw poll of 300 voters that was conducted at the West Volusia Regional Chamber of Commerce Hot Nob this week.

Either way, Costello is a happy camper.
