The #neverTrump movement seems to be witling away, but there are still some outspoken, deep-pocketed Republicans out there that are hell-bent in taking down Donald Trump.
Enter Miami healthcare billionaire Mike Fernandez, a Jeb Bush supporter.Fernandez tried place a full page ad in Cleveland’s The Plain Dealer newspaper depicting Trump as a Scorpion.
Here is how the Miami Herald described the ad:

The hat reads: “The Donald.”
The Herald went on:
The latest full-page ad features a version of the story about the scorpion and the turtle — which some people know as the scorpion and the frog — in which a scorpion is looking for a ride across a river. It asks the turtle to give it a lift.“If I do, you will sting me, and I know your poison would kill me,” the turtle says in the ad. The scorpion responds, “Trust me, buddy. I would never do that. If I stung you, my poison would kill you; then you would sink, and I would drown.”
The turtle agrees to the favor. Halfway across, the scorpion stings the turtle. As they both begin to drown, the turtle asks the scorpion why. “Because it’s my nature,” the scorpion answers.
The ad, which also shows a stylized turtle, prints Fernandez’s message after the fable. He decries Trump as “narcissistic, racist, egomaniac” and warns fellow Republicans to “be ready to be stung by the scorpion.”
Wait, Fernandez is saying that Trump is “narcissistic” and is a “egomaniac?”
This looks like a clear example of the pot calling the kettle black, as Fernandez’s overt narcissistic actions (past and present) themselves speak volumes of an apparent over-inflated ego.Fernandez says he will vote for Hillary Clinton before he votes for Donald Trump. Knock yourself out. For someone who has expressed his disdain for President Obama’s failed policies, its interesting to see Fernandez threaten to vote in favor of those same policies on election night.
