The one issue that most American voters support, especially Republicans, is that of curbing illegal immigration and promoting legal immigration to those wishing to immigrate to the U.S.

Most elected Republican politicians will tell you that they support legal immigration, but do their words match up to their actions?

The newly-formed political committee, Stop Career Politicians, has formed to all-but take State Representative Ritch Workman to task over his alleged wavering on legal immigration.

Workman is in contested open GOP state Senate primary race against state Rep. Debbie Mayfield in Florida’s Senate District 17.

In a press release by the group, that also included an attack video that hits Workman for apparently voting in favor of  ” incentivize illegal immigration by giving college tuition discounts and law licenses to illegal immigrants.”

Workman, a classic say-one-thing-do-another career politician, says he is fighting illegal immigration, yet he voted to incentivize illegal immigration by giving college tuition discounts and law licenses to illegal immigrants.

Backed by Floridians interested in putting an end to career politicians, Stop Career Politicians will “hold Ritch Workman accountable for his moral, ethical and legal transgressions. Ritch Workman portrays himself as a true conservative, though his personal life and professional record show he is an incompetent leader with a penchant for liberal policy and an inability to properly manage his personal finances,” as stated in the official Mission Statement.

“Our mission is to ensure the voters of Senate District 17 know the truth about Ritch Workman’s tax and spend record; his blatant violations of election law; and his penchant for lying down with special interests at the expense of Florida tax payers. We will not rest until Ritch Workman is exposed for the deceitful career politician that he is,” the Mission Statement concludes.
