On Saturday President Obama designated a new national monument at the site of the Stonewall Uprising in New York City to honor the LGBT movement.
This monument will be the first national monument aimed at commemorating LGBT rights.The president stated he will continue to protect the LGBT community and this is just the latest example of that.
