Curt Clawson in southwest Florida.
Bongino was set to run in FL CD 18, but when double-amputee veteran Brian Mast entered the race, Bongino shut down all campaign operations. When Bongino was thinking about running in the wide open Republican senatorial race, it became clear to him that that raising the amount money needed to win the race could be a factor.
Bongino later endorsed Rep. Ron DeSantis (R) in the Senate race.
