The Republican primary race between Dr. Neal Dunn and attorney Mary Thomas in Florida’s 2nd congressional district continues to ramps up, as both candidates are continuously trying to politically out-flank one another at every turn.
Thomas has gone after Dunn by calling him an establishment Republican candidate, who because of his past lobbying, is beholden to Tallahassee insiders.Dunn, who swears he never lobbied, has stayed relatively quite when it comes to bashing Thomas, and has taken more of higher campaign road.
But where is the fun in that?

Both Thomas and Dunn are touting and campaigning on their conservative bona fides, garnering endorsements from prominent conservative political figures and organizations.
Thomas has been able to best Dunn in the conservative endorsement department, as she has been able to shore up the support of the Tea Party Express, Club for Growth, Senate Conservatives Fund, Citizen’s United, and the Eagle Forum.Impressive yes, but Dunn has also received the support from the likes of former Speaker Will Weatherford, state Reps. Dennis Baxley, Jay Trumball, and former Congressman Steve Southerland.
But while endorsement really don’t mean much, substantively addressing pressing issues that affecting Americans does.
While both Thomas and Dunn have openly denounced the disastrous Obamacare law, Dunn is the first of the two to take to the air waves to bash it.
Dunn, who is the guy wearing the surgical scrubs in the video (Duh), and has been practicing medicine “for the past 25 years,” says he knows “what works in our healthcare system and what doesn’t.”
