A new poll is out, and Florida voters seem to support the use of marijuana for medicinal purposes only.
During the 2014 election cycle, the push to legalize pot barely failed-garnering only 58 percent of the needed 60 percent support- but now the same measure is expected to pass this year. The poll conducted by Bendixen & Amandi International gives the medicinal marijuana measure a 61-36 percent approval rating among Miami-Dade County voters.
61 percent approval may not be enough to tip the scales in favor of the pro-pot lobby.
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
According to Fernand Amand, who conducted the poll for the Miami Herald, WLRN, Univision 23, and el Nuevo Herald, support for the measure needs to be in the “mid-60’s.”
“On these constitutional questions over the years, what I have found is that support needs to be in the mid-60s to feel confident that this thing is going to pass.”-Fernand Amandi
