Florida Governor Rick Scott has already come out publicly in support of Donald Trump in this year’s GOP presidential primary race. No news there.
Scott was asked by reporters at the annual RNC spring meeting in Hollywood, Florida, if he would call on Senator Ted Cruz and Governor John Kasich, to drop out of the race for the GOP presidential nomination.

Scott went on to say that any purported “monkey business” that might be at play to hurt Trump with delegates at the convention needed to stop, before doubling down on his support for the billionaire developer.
